Questions
Why does Kick add a watermark in the first place?
The watermark and the end card are baked in when Kick renders a file for its own download button. Kick offers two ways out: subscribe to the channel you are clipping, or install the Kick app. The clip stream itself, the one the web player shows everybody, has never had either.
Does the quality drop?
No. Nothing is re-encoded. The original video and audio are copied into an MP4 container untouched, so the file is identical to the source, usually 1080p.
Do I need an account or an app?
Neither. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to install. The page works on a phone too, though very long clips are easier on a computer.
Do you store the clips?
We never see them. Your browser talks to Kick's CDN directly and builds the file on your device. Our server only helps read the clip title if your network blocks Kick, and that is a few kilobytes of text.
Is there a length or size limit?
No limit we impose. The only real ceiling is your device's memory, since the whole clip is assembled locally. Kick clips top out around three minutes, which is comfortable almost anywhere.
Can I download VODs and full streams?
Yes, with the VOD trimmer on this site. You give it a stream link and two timecodes, and it saves just that stretch as MP4 — only the chunks covering your range are ever fetched, so cutting two minutes out of a twelve-hour stream costs two minutes of download.
Is there a Telegram bot?
Yes, @kick_clips_bot. Send it a clip link in a direct message and it replies with the MP4, no watermark, same original quality. Telegram caps what a bot may send at 50 MB, so clips beyond roughly 45 seconds are better downloaded on this page, which has no such limit.
